Seward 4th of July Celebration Committee

Specific Need

In celebration of the "USA-250"- America's Semiquincentennial, our goal this year is to purchase banners for the downtown light poles promoting this special Fourth of July Celebration, showing that we are the officical Fourth of July City for Nebraska and encouraging all to visit our celebration site as Seward is the official Nebraska July 4 "USA -250" Celebration location!

We also hope to purchase featherbanners for specific areas of our celebration to help identify that specific site-such as "Food Alley," or the "Car Show" and develop special "sandwich boards" with helpful "you are here" maps! We are still generating bids and hope to have the breakdown ASAP for our donors to consider sponsorship of a banner, sandwhich board or feathersignage.

Mission

The Seward Fourth of July Celebration Committtee's mission is to develop, promote and present an annual Fourth of July Celebration, with a focus on family and fun-to be held every year on July 4 in the City of Seward-"Nebraska's Official Fourth of July City!"

Our Seward Fourth of July Celebration Committee is an all volunteer organziation, that meets all year to plan and execute the annual Seward Fourth of July Celebration in Seward. We consist of a group of committees and assist in coordinanting other civic groups and businesses that add to the day's celebration efforts. For over 150+years, Seward has enjoyed successful Fourth of July Celebrations and we look forward to many more.We are excited to host the state this year as the official celebration site for Nebraska's "USA-250" and want it to be a special day- showcasing Seward, Nebraska and this special Birthday for the United States!
