Seward Disc Golf Club

Specific Need

We are raising $25,000 for materials and equipment to make much-needed repairs, renovations, and positive improvements to Seward's disc golf course at the Plum Creek Sports Complex. Because there is no fee to play the course, the city budget to maintain the course is limited. The Seward Disc Golf Club does maintenance and improvement work beyond what the city can do, in partnership with the Parks Department.

Mission

Seward Disc Golf Club exists to help more people discover and enjoy the very accessible, affordable, and family-friendly sport of disc golf in and around Seward. We partner with municipal departments to improve the quality of play on local courses, offer leagues and learning opportunities, and offer assistance to organizations bringing tournaments and other events to Seward.

Profile

We are NOT here to criticize city staff or facilities. Rather, we appreciate their work and are excited to work alongside them as volunteers to make good things even better for the Seward community. After 15 years of weather, floods, wear and tear, the course is ready for some serious TLC!
